Working...From Home

The doctor pulled the plug and has put me on a work from home reduced schedule. Apparently, working until the baby is born in August in DC with a large baby is not the best idea for all concerned. So here I am, working from home until Baby Azer decides to come on his own or be forced out. Momma finished her exams, which is great, but my life has to be complicated and Adrian is travelling back and forth to NYC for work. Let's just pray that I have some advance warning or I will be at Sibley with the nurses having a baby. (And people keep telling me stories about how they were like me, no progress, no progress, then boom and they almost had the baby in the car. That would be my luck, not that I will complain, but I will feel bad for Adrian.)

In case I have not said so, it has been great to receive the emails, FB posts, etc from everyone. At this point, I need the assistance in the motivation department to wait this out. (I can also see why people just opt for planned c's because it takes the guess work out.)

All in all I cannot complain now; being at home does help with the swelling and I am able to dress more comfortably for this stage in pregnancy, which is great. I am jealous that I am the last person pregnant in the due date range, as Wendy is now being induced on Monday (big prayers her way for their little guy, we are so excited to meet him as well!). Baby Azer better be a little angel for making me wait through all of this...Nanny said that I was a good baby, but given that Adrian is in the mix, I fear I am in for it no matter what.

We will keep everyone updated and will post photos on this site once he is here. The countdown is on.....
