Well, its been a while but in my defense, I have been quite busy at work, and in this economy, that is no small feat. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is good. Baby Azer is very active and just kicking and punching around all the time (we could barely hear the beartbeat for him moving around so much because the doppler picked up his movements more than the heartbeat). I already sense he is going to be a squirmer like his father, so we will have get used to another Adrian Jr. running around constantly (and I imagine at some point possibly talking constantly (but he gets that both ways)). Hopefully, I can challenge all of his energy into sports and maybe he will be the next RogFed or TWoods. (Height is not something he is likely to be blessed with so I am sticking to things that advantage practice and skill versus just pure physical attributes; you know I would love to have a little football player but there are just not that many 5'10" players out there. (Flutie was an anomaly.))
I am also in the midst of pregnesia, where I have a one track mind and if you tell me something off my track, I am not likely to remember it. I am also just as likely to remember part of something but not everything, its really fun. For example, you may tell me that we are meeting on Sunday, but I will not remember where or when. Or, someone will tell me something and I remember what they said but not who told me. I am doing my best to make sure this does not happen at work and occurrences are usually in my personal life so forgive me if I say I will call, email, etc and don't, pregnesia has just taken over my life.
We are getting the nursery going, and with my parents help, it will be painted this weekend. Baby Azer will have a pale green green room, with navy blue, yellow and white accents. (For those of you who attended my wedding, this whole color scheme may sound familiar.) I am on a quest to find Curious George prints to decorate the walls and getting the furniture squared away. Jenny has been great about helping me locate gently used items for the baby to try out and I am now having so much fun with all of that. Now if the summer will just get here so that the pools are open, I need to float around and stay cool. (I feel like instead of having a baby, I am in the midst of menopause with hot flashes. Its terrible and so HOT.)
On May 8th we go for another sonogram to check on the kidney issue. Turns out others are having the same problem so we are praying that they all resolve but if not I am trusting Sarah to guide us through this process. I am just thankful that other than this, he seems to be super healthy and growing every day (I am huge, whale huge, and I fully expect people will begin to ask me if I am having twins because I am so big.)
